ICF judge training

An ICF instructor trainer certification seminar will take place at NOC in North Carolina on April 12-15; checking in on 4/12 by noon checking out 4/15 before lunch. This is the week immediately preceding the NOC Shootout. Any judge interested in judging at the World Championships will need to be at this seminar. There is a 12 person cap on the number of people attending. Justin will be leading the seminar and Jasper Polak, Chief Judge from the 2009 World Championships, will also be attending.

People who receive an ‘A” rating will then also be a certifying instructor for USACK and can lead judges training seminars throughout the year.

Keep in mind that although we may have some Worlds athletes attending the seminar, they cannot judge at the Worlds so I would like to be sure we try to fill the spots with non-competing athletes first.

The plane ticket to Germany is paid for through fundraisers the USFKA is conducting. Once you arrive, your food and lodging is covered. There is no pay, judging at the Worlds is a volunteer position. You would need to be in Germany from June 18-26.

Judges who will be judging at the Worlds will ultimately be chosen from the available pool of certified judges by the committee and the yet to be announced chief judge for Plattling.

If you have any additional questions, please let me know.
